🌳🌿 Spring Awakens at Warfield Park: SANG Expansion Brings Nature to Life 🌳🌿

As spring breathes new life into the landscape, we’re thrilled to share the latest updates on the Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) at Warfield Park, Berkshire. With flowers starting to bloom and trees budding, the vibrant signs of the season are a reminder of the beauty and vitality this project is bringing to the area. 🌷🌳

In line with our commitment to safeguarding the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area, the SANG, part of our Paddocks development is set to open in late spring 2025, is growing into a sanctuary for both wildlife and residents. 🌱

This phase of the development is focused on enhancing the natural environment, with 115 new trees 🌳 and over 3000 shrubs 🌿 being planted across 26 acres. As the trees and flowers begin to bud, the SANG is transforming into a peaceful, eco-friendly space designed to connect people with nature. The SANG will offer new habitats 🦌, circular walking trails 🚶♀️, and carefully planned landscape features that make sustainability the centrepiece of this green haven. 🌍💚

The creation of the SANG plays a vital role in reducing the recreational pressure on the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area, providing a beautiful and accessible space for residents to enjoy while helping to protect the sensitive wildlife habitats. 🌳🦉

As the SANG expands, it will provide even more open space for the community to enjoy—perfect for relaxation, exercise 🏃♂️, or simply connecting with the natural world. We’re excited to see the progress and can’t wait for you to experience the completed transformation this spring!

Check out our latest photos 📸 to see how the SANG is blooming into a stunning green space.
