Easthampstead Park School Festival of Light

We love our community. It’s at the centre of everything we do. Warfield Park has a thriving community within the site and that sense of belonging and neighbourly cheer is what makes it one of the most sought after park home addresses in the UK.

However, we don’t stop there. We like to reach out to the wider community and often get involved in events in and around the local area of Bracknell, Warfield and Binfield. It’s a great opportunity to get our name out there but also to do some good for local people and organisations.

Let there be light

For the past few years we have sponsored the Festival of Light at Easthampstead Park Community School in Bracknell. This popular event was held at the school on Friday, 15th November, between 6pm and 8pm and is always a wonderful event.

We were delight to be able to contribute £250 towards the Festival which included a series of performances by pupils, a ‘Light Trail’ and various stalls. There was also hot chocolate, marshmallows and mulled wine, which made some of our team VERY happy.  There’s nothing quite like getting into the festive spirit nice and early with an evening outdoors with a hot drink.

This event was very popular last year,” said James Sumner, Warfield Park’s business operations coordinator, “and we are delighted to be able to support it again this year.”

Liz Cook, head teacher at Easthampstead Park School, said: “Warfield Park Homes’ ongoing sponsorship and support of the Festival of Light is very welcome. It celebrates the artwork and performances of our community and is becoming a popular fixture in our calendar”.

It was a fantastic evening of which we are very proud to be a part. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the people behind the scenes who spent many hours organising the event – what a great job you all did.
