19 Jul Warfield Electrification – Phase 2

We have completed the second phase of our electrification project, successfully installing EV (electric vehicle) chargers on a further 18  homes in Harvest Lea, our dedicated rental area.

We have partnered with EV Domestic and used chargers manufactured by EO Charging, a leading UK-based EV charging point manufacturer. The collaboration with EV Domestic ensured that our residents have access to high quality, efficient and safe charging solutions. EO Charging’s innovative and user-friendly chargers align perfectly with our sustainability goals.

This phase continued to equip homes in Harvest Lea with EV chargers, providing convenient access to charging facilities for our dedicated rental area. Subsequent phases will see all 75 rented properties with EV charging points, and all 82 of the new properties in The Paddocks, to be developed over the coming two years.

Investing in EV charging infrastructure is a significant endeavour, but one that reflects the desires of our tenants and residents to make a positive impact on the environment. We are excited to support the growing demand for sustainable transportation options.

Our past awards, including Regional Housing Association/Landlord of the Year, social responsibility award, and boiler and heating project award, motivate us to continue our commitment to sustainability.
