Wishing you all a Happy Holiday

This year has been another whirlwind and probably another year we’ll all be glad to see the back of. The Covid-19 pandemic kept us all at home at the beginning of 2021 in the form of yet another lockdown and it all started to feel a bit de ja vu.

However, 2021 hasn’t all been doom and gloom; there have been a number of things which we would consider a highlight and, in times like these we believe it’s important to celebrate the small wins which have kept us all going through the year.

Keeping yourself occupied

As we hurtle towards the end of the year and the Christmas period, there is a general unease about how the new variant, Omicron, might affect our plans this holiday. There was a similar feeling last year and in January we were told to stay home where possible.

Now usually that might be a problem, but not for Warfield Park residents – we brought you some tasks to keep your garden beautiful in January and even set you up with some exercises you could do at home to help keep you fit and healthy.

Staying current

While we continued to bring updates on legislation and guidelines in the form of James Sumner’s Covid updates, we also looked at some of the reasons why park homes are so fantastic.

We took an in-depth look at some of the most commonly asked questions which come up when people are thinking of making the move from a traditional brick and mortar house to a park home. Our blog What is a Park Home looks at what you can expect from this kind of community. We even look at why people love their park homes and why it could be the answer for you if you are thinking of retiring to a more like-minded community.

It can be a daunting prospect, to move into such a residential park; luckily our Associate Director James Sumner wrote a fantastic article to ease your mind if you are new to buying a park home.

Excellence in Energy

We have worked tirelessly on improving the energy provision for the Park and were delighted when we won the Regional Housing Association/Landlord of the Year Award at the South East Energy Efficiency Awards. While it’s lovely to receive an award for our efforts so far, it only serves to drive us forward to keep improving.

Staying on the subject of energy efficiency, James also took a closer look at how Park Homes are built in a way that makes them some of the most energy-efficient living solutions available.

Christmas Office Hours

Please note that we will close on Thursday 23rd December from 1.00 pm until 4th January 2022.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.
